According to data from PV InfoLink, the total amount of photovoltaic modules exported by China to Pakistan in 2024 reached 16.91GW, an increase of 127% from 2023, showing the huge demand in the Pakistan market.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Pakistan's imports account for 25% of the total imports in the region, making it one of the important photovoltaic markets.
The Pakistan government implements zero tariffs or exemptions policy on the import of photovoltaic modules, energy storage batteries and related equipment, reducing the initial cost of enterprises and individuals to deploy photovoltaic energy storage systems.
